Hurt my back deadlifting and squatting. then i hurt it by just running, what would u guys do???? should i create a specific routine just for my upper body? or should i juss take the time to heal 100%???
I would take time to heal up whilst doing whatever I could in the gym that doesn't aggravate my back.

May need to get it checked by a doctor. If your back gets that badly hurt just running you've got something a bit more heavy duty going on in there.
I have had many low back issues in the past. My prevention is I do 2x20 low back crunches or supermans whatever you call em, any how that keeps my back healthy and well conditioned for heavy deads and squats. If I were you Id do 3x20 twice a week to start then after your better just do the 2x20 once a week for maintenance
Good call, stay light to see if you have any lingering issues. It should be apparent right away.
If you have any more back issues along the way, stop everything and see a better doctor.
When my back is messed up, I can't do anything, not squat, not bench, not even curls.
