    I enjoyed the article. Making fun of the guys that just want skinny physiques with rippled abz is one way to win me over. To mention Boyer Coe is another.

    I like his ideas and all of them make perfect sense. This was a keeper.

    Amazing, I was literally just googling info on triceps and then noticed their was a new article on tris right here! One question that I still have: is it possible to "overdevelop" the triceps?

    How do you mean? Aesthetically, or physiologically?

    right, should have specified. Overdeveloped as in created an imbalance between the triceps and other connected muscles. Now, obviously (I think) it is theoretically possible, but is it something realistic to be worried about as is the case with biceps and front delts? My thinking is that it'd be a very long time before really well developed, strong tris became a problem for the rest of your body. Aesthetically I hadn't thought about it, but it seems like it'd be really difficult to overdevelop in that aspect as well.

    Has anybody had good luck hitting the triceps with the pin presses?
    I've noticed that they hit the triceps pretty hard. I've never used them as a triceps movement before, I've always used them to work on a sticking point on my bench or to do bttom position bench. How high off the chest do you set the pins?

    Yes - pin presses were are part of a program I did some years ago trying to bring up my bench. I think it was probably a Metal Militia offshoot of some sort with a chunk of board and pin presses. Elbows took a beating until they acclimated. At the time, my triceps became very strong.

    I don't think these were included but lying DB extensions, and elbows-out DB extensions (aka "Tate Presses", I think), and tricep pushdowns are exercises that should be included as well imo.
    A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

    I just started this routine this week. It was a real ball-buster for the arms, the pump was rediculous. Using the chains was a blast!
