    FRIDAY 9 MAY

    Goblet Squat Hip Rotations:

    3 ◊ 10 figures of 8

    (& other hip mobility stuff)

    Deadlift:

    10 @ 70kg
    5 @ 120kg
    3 @ 170kg - chalk
    1 @ 200kg - belt on
    F @ 230kg - didn't even budge!
    F @ 200kg - mid shin

    Note: 1.5" deficit

200kg felt heavy but went up smooth (1st time anyway)

I probably won't try deadlifting fasted in future!

    RDLs:

    3 ◊ 5 @ 120KG

    Face Pulls:

    10 @ 35kg
    10 @ 50kg
    10 @ 60kg
    10 @ 70kg

    Note: X130 tempo

not sure about the pulleys on this cable machine (I've done 5 sets of 20 kneeling cable crunches at 85kg on this machine a few times before but only managed 60kg in a different gym)

    Seated Machine Rows:

    10 @ 60kg
    10 @ 65kg
    10 @ 65kg
    10 @ 62.5kg

    Note: X130 tempo

    Hanging Alternate Leg Raises:

    3 ◊ 20

Good stuff mate. I prefer fasted training when I've been doing it a while and I'm dialled in to a diet but it can be difficult at first.
    Current 1RM's - Bench 264lbs (Target 308lbs)/Squat 396lbs (Target 352lbs)/
    Deadlift 429lbs (Target 440lbs)
    BIG 3 TOTAL at 220lbs (28% BF) = 1089lbs
    6ft 2, 234lb fat, hairy ape!

Cheers Jamie. I've been fasting in the mornings for a while now and most times I don't notice any major difference these days when I get the chance to workout pre lunchtime. With work the way it is at the moment though I don't always get the chance to workout then and usually train in the evenings... this DL sesh was pre lunch, fasted and I felt it!

Man deadlifting on an empty stomach sound rough. Looks like you still got some strong work in.

Cheers Kills... and yeah, it's not something I plan on repeating soon. To be fair, that was also the first time pulling from a deficit in a while so I'm not too disheartened.

    TUESDAY 13 MAY

    Bench:

    3 ◊ 20 @ 20kg
    10 @ 40kg
    10 @ 60kg
    5 @ 80kg
    3 @ 90kg - slowing
    2 @ 100kg - wanted a triple

    Bottom Position Bench:

    1 @ 100kg
    F @ 100kg
    F @ 97.5kg - !
    2 @ 90kg - struggling now!

Note: the bars were set about 1.5" - 2" above my chest for these... I had them on the next setting down for normal bench before but that was below the top of my chest on this rack and I couldn't get under them for a bottom position press.

    Wide Grip Bench:

    10 @ 60kg
    5 @ 70kg
    2 @ 80kg
    10 @ 70kg

Note: hands as wide apart as I could get them for these... caught my left hand on the hook as I put the bar down on the last rep!

    JM Press:

    10 @ 40kg
    7 @ 40kg
    5 @ 40kg
    4 @ 40kg

    Note: 41X1 tempo

not feeling it tonight! little bit run down and very tired... maybe time for a deload?
