Looking good Mac. I like reverse band benching so long as it doesn't turn in to an ego lift. I only allow myself to work with weight that I'm aiming to hit within 6 months for my 1RM. It gets rid of that fear when you take the weight out if you work with it some before actually benching it. Same with squats for me as well.
Thanks Mark, that all makes sense mate. 120kg is my next target and I enjoyed that single with it... the bands definitely gave me a lot of confidence, especially through the bottom portion of the lift. Not much assistance from the bands at the top of the lift so that gives confidence too. I'm looking forward to using them for squats and deads too... chains will be the next consideration for purchase.
