so after a 12 day crash contest prep diet, I went from 257 and looking like a did above to weighing in at 230 pretty shredded... Took second in the open super heavyweights losing to the overall winner Toney Badaracco, who recently took third (should have been second) at the Atlantic States last week.

I'll have pictures and full results soon!

Would be great to have more competitors here. You've already brought a different feel to the place and I think the guys here are happy about it.

Thank you so much man. It was funny, at the show when i mentioned AtLarge, the competitors all said "isnt that a powerlifting company?" so it was cool to change their thinking of it. I have a good feeling about getting more competitors involved here.

Wow, thats impressive Zar. You were pretty damn lean to start with, and you lost almost 30 lbs in less than 2 weeks? LOL SHIT

It wasnt that bad since it was only 1.5 weeks. just ate mostly eggs, beef, and chicken, and veggies. Made sure to eat my carbs around my workouts. I had a big cheat meal on tuesday the week of the show. Then i experimented with a "junk load". At midnight before the show I ate an apple pie and donuts and fell asleep. this goes against everything i normally do. usually a junk load would be burger and fries, but again just an experiment.
I woke up crazy vascular and dry. but smoothed out in 2 hours. then tightend back up through the day. had burger and fries after prejudging and that seemed to fill me out and tighten me up more. I looked better at the night show than at prejudging.
I feel like i should have drank more water during the day before prejudging. i had literally 2 sips. but again even if i came in as full and as dry as i possible could i would have still lost to the guy who won. He was massive. Very happy with the show. Now its time to grow!!! Thinking my next show will be the 2013 Arnold. or if i gain muscle faster than expected I'll do Nationals at the end of 2012.

    I'm still waiting on pictures...
