Yeah exactly!! Two weeks out ya can't change much.

Was meant to get into the gym I work at this afternoon after hours to do my openers. Went to go in an the lifeguards wouldn't unlock the door for me an let me in as one of the power hungry ones was adament my manager had to ring them to say I was allowed in (our gym is based inside a swimming complex & I don't have a key). My manager told me that's rubbish and they should've let me in but I'd left by then. Tad frustrated but just decided ah well I'll do it tomorrow before work. Means the shoulder gets one extra day too I suppose...

Going to map out my last 13 days of training/tapering tonight... Will be flexible obviously as seen by today's events lol

Definately was after getting mentally ready for it! Ah well went in in the morning...

    Opener Testing

    Squats
    60kg (132lbs) * 6, * 6
    100kg (220lbs) * 5, * 5
    140kg (308lbs) * 3, * 3
    160kg (352lbs) * 1 (b)
    180kg (396lbs) * 1 (b+kw)
    200kg (440lbs) * 1, * 1 (b+kw) - will put video up later...

    Bench Press
    60kg (132lbs) * 5, * 5
    80kg (176lbs) * 3
    100kg (220lbs) * 1 (paused)
    120kg (264lbs) * 2 (shirt)
    130kg (286lbs) * 1, * 2 (shirt) - comp calls. Will post video later also...

Deadlift - really didn't have enough time to get these done properly, had 20min so no rest...
    140kg (308lbs) * 3
    180kg (396lbs) * 1 (b)
    200kg (440lbs) * 1 (b)
215kg (473lbs) * fail (twice) - got it off the floor on first attempt but didnt move it second. Will put up vid of the fail later too lol

Happy with the session. Obviously not so much with the deads, but I feel a bit of rest before these an it'll be piece of cake. Had only about 40min between last squat an the 215 attempt - so made it tough on myself. Also should have done more warmup sets on it but with limited time I couldn't really. Oh well!
Planning on working up to opener on the deads again maybe wednesday avo!.

Good numbers. That should give you a lot of confidence going into the meet.

Yeah it does, hopefully the dead flys, should just be a matter of food in after squatting an optimizing recovery time available between lifts...

Smoked the bench, squats looked good too. Didn't look like you had any legs in the pull. You will smoke all these at the meet I'm sure.

Technical Deadlift Work - last session with decent weights on Deads before nats...

    Deadlift
    60kg (132lbs) * 12, * 8
    100kg (220lbs) * 5, * 5
    140kg (308lbs) * 3, * 3 - back a little sore from Monday but soldiered on!
Off Plates (probably 1.5 inches raised...)
    140kg (308lbs) * 3, * 3
    180kg (396lbs) * 1, * 1, * 1 (b)
    From Floor
    180kg (396lbs) * 1, * 1, * 1 (b)
Off Plates - technique of getting low and sitting back was getting much better.
    190kg (418lbs) * 1
    200kg (440lbs) * 1
    From Floor
200kg (440bs) * 1 - this one flew! Technique felt awesome even with a fatigued back, great confidence boost!
