I remember you messaging me about your back a while ago. How is that doing now?

    Hey dude!

My back is feeling mostly fine these days, although I just switched to Leg Press for several months cause I couldn't squat.

I started squatting again last week and it felt a little sore 24 hours after lifting, but then it seemed to bounce back and was ok.

That probably means I need to be a bit cautious, but hopefully this is no big deal.

As I told you in email, I sort of hit a plateau on Wendler during Phase 5, but I'm still trying... You can check out my log if you're curious.

    Peace!

This marks about a year you've been working out consistently. Do you feel satisfied with your results so far? What are your thoughts so far about your journey?

I guess you could say I haven't made as much progress as I should have. I only got through 5 cycles of Wendler and then stalled. I pinched a nerve while squatting and so have been dealing with an injury to boot.

However, I'm still pleased with some of my gains. I've set some new records for bench press, overhead press, and curls. I've also packed on a lot of muscle, just physically speaking.

I'd say my biggest problems right now are this squat injury, having too much bodyfat, and not gaining as much strength as I should have.

What do you think of my journal?

It could just be me, but I feel for the length that you have been going to the gym, your lifts should be higher than this. But hey, progress is progress
