The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Been very sick, just getting back into it.

I keep losing ground due to an illness, but I more or less have maintained and will keep trying.

Just letting you guys know that I still lift every week.

I stopped recording my workouts for a couple of reasons:

    1. I am mainly trying to lose weight, so my routine is basically the exact same every week, no point in writing it down every single time.

    2. I have not made any strength gains, I've actually lost a bit of strength.

The good news is I have lost almost 30 lbs.

It is really hard for me to make strength or hypertrophy gains on a calorie deficit, but I needed to get rid of the stomach fat.

It is also really hard to make gains when my health problems force me to take many weeks off here and there.

Don't delete this journal, I hope to add to it one day.

    peace,
    Eric

p.s. this journal has sort of been a f*cking mess
