Hello, I just started eating above maintenance yesterday and i started hct-12 and i am not sure if its the right program for my strength levels. My Stats are 5 foot 10 162lbs
Squat 225lbs x 5
Bench 205lbs x 5
Deadlift 315lbs x 1
I was thinking that starting strength or Madcow may possibly be better but not sure. Main goal is to put on muscle mass.
Strength levels aren't shabby for your size and height
Cant say a bad thing about Madcow. Had great success with it for strength.
I'd say Madcow 5x5 if you want big three strength, and HCT-12
if you want more even, aesthetic development IMO.
It's not so much about strength levels, it's more about experience..
You need to be able to push a lift hard and maintain form.
You need to be able to auto-regulate intensity and progression.
