Managed to fit extra session ive been doing weekly, in today.. nothing revolutionary

    Close grip handled low row

    4 sets - 15/12/10/8 - acsending weights

    Wide Grip lat pulldowns
    4 sets - 15/12/10/8

    Barbell shrugs
    4 sets - 15/12/10/8 - 135/185/225/265

thanks H, yeah, I know I get alot out of speed pulls and think they are very underated, and I cant pull too heavy too often, so putting these two things together for a plan gives me a chance to get the best of both worlds.

They are much harder out of season so to speak when the volumes alot higher! Its easy at the moment, just reaping the rewards of earlier efforts in training and the PR's are flowing!

    Back/traps

    T Bar rows

worked up to top set of 10 - started at 1 plate, worked up in half plate jumps to 4 plates
    (8 sets basically)

    Kroc rows
    65's x 10
    85's x 10
    100's x 10
    110's x 10

    chest supported DB rows
    2 sets of 25 @ 50's

BB shrugs superset with DB shrugs

    225 x 20 - 50's x 20 for 3 sets

    band neck work
    2 sets of 50

got a good pump in the yoke. Watched warrior for the first time today and needless to say it pumped me up big time! Felt 100 times better too from the man flu so had to go do something as only trained twice this week.

    ME upper

    2 training weeks out

    Bench
    bar x lots x 2
    135 x 5 x 2
    175 x 5
    225 x 3
    255 x 1
    275 x 1
    300 x 1
    325 x 1.5
    325 x 1

went for a double, got a tad greedy and pissed at myself with a miss in this great training run really but still pleased with how well the 1st moved. This is my meet goal so to hit it nicely is good!

    Pushdowns
3 sets of 25 (good pump)

    T bar rows
    3 sets of 10

    Front/side/rear raise/shoulder horn/rotators circuit
2 giant sets of 12 reps of each

    pec dec
    2 sets of 50

    curls
    2 sets of 50

there you have it, heavy benching all wrapped up. Gotta stay healthy and put the miss behind me now, hit it for a second time after for a nice clean single so should be good to go at the meet. Will probably go 285/308/330 for 3 good benches hopefully. Next monday i'll just coast upto 250ish I imagine, followed by a deload week.

That 325 was really clean. If it was just touch and go you would have 2 reps no problem.

    Very good bench.

I think trying to t-n-g it ruined the 2nd one: you use a slightly different line to go up, and stall at the transition between pecs and tris

    DE lower

    Speed Squats
    bar x lots
    135 x lots
    175 x 5 x 2
    225 x 2 x 5

    Leg press
    3 sets of 15

    Hypers
    4 sets of 10

    leg raises
    4 sets of 10

    some light foam rolling/stretching.

abbreviated session, got a monster one coming friday so would much rather at this point aswel go much lighter than needed than too heavy. Speed was obviously good with that weight haha. Just felt good to move around, get some blood moving.
