5 days out, last minute critiques appreciated

    Hoping for 250/130/335 raw @ 100 (kg)

    Strong bench, I know.

    Video
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

It all looks good! Risky stuff without a spotter! Especially squats! Good luck at the meet!

those 200kilo pulls are slow IMO, might be more beneficial to do 150 against bands. You want that bar moving 1m/s to really get the affect of speed pulls..

    just my opinion..

very strong though. are you still doing any o-lifting?

Critique? Don't change anything this close to a meet. Just rest up, have fun, and kick ass. Good luck!

it wasn't exactly a speed pull. I don't use dynamic effort in squats or deads. More so just feeling a decent weight as my last pull was 705 2.5 weeks ago.

I don't compete in OL anymore and plan never to again, but I do still do the lifts 4x a week (thus why I've found DE work to be unnecessary)

gotcha, for some reason I thought you meant it was a speed pull/DE movement.

out of curiousity, why aren't you going to compete OL anymore? I'm actually thinking about doing an OL meet next year.. just need to increase my OH squat and learn how to split jerk, haha..

BTW, i saw that 705 pull, just huge, great job!! good luck this weekend

If you don't use the dynamic effort method, why even bother pulling 60+% of your max?

If it were me I'd either be using 45-50% for speed pulls or pulling above 90% for a single

How do you like your (metal?) deadlift socks? I was thinking about investing in a pair. That bench had me wondering how you would survive if you didn't make the press. I'm sure you have thought about a way to Houdini out of it?
