I have no idea what kind of split to use. I want to get Big i dont care about getting cut. I wrestle and I box so I get all my cardio from that. I was thinking about a Chest, back, bicep and a leg, shoulder, tricep split what do you guys think? I also have No idea what exercises to use. Thanks for the help guys.
Bench Press 245x1
Back Squat 225x3 (ATG)
Dead lift 275x1
That's all you really need TBH. In my HCT-12 program, I use nothing but a Barbell or dumbells. However, I feel like 5/3/1 might benefit an athlete more.
Aren't you the guy who kept changing routines about a year ago? Starting Strength, a few of your own, HCT-12, 531... What's wrong with any of them?
If you're still not sure then you might want to read Dinosaur Training by Brooks Kubik, not because it has loads of amazing routines in it - it pointedly doesn't - but because it stresses that hard work on the big exercises, without excessive volume, will yield results almost regardless of how you put it together. Which is basically the same message you get on WBB.
Don't waste your time fellas. He has never listened to the advice he is give. He never will.
I think this is possibly the all-time best response on WBB. - Jorge Sanchez

"Now we're finally getting to the chicken or the egg question," I grinned. "Did I eat all that food because my size gives me more of an appetite, or did I get to be this big because I've been forcing myself to eat like this for years?"
