I'm determined to deadlift 500 lbs at less than 180 bw, shooting for 170. Generally when I deadlift, I only do sets of 1 and work up to my 1 rep max. That has been working well for a while but my progress has definitely gotten slower over the past six months. I pulled 375 the other day for my new 1 rep max. Should I start doing sets with higher reps? If so at about what weight? I checked out this little program http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/we...lp-742575.html would I benefit off that?
