The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Opticen with Nitrean or just Opticen?

Just about out of Nitrean and I am going to order Opticen this time. Now I like to take a Shake in the morning as soon as I wake up and then one after the gym (was Nitrean now going to be Opticen) along with Results, and one before bed. I am thinking Opticen would be over kill taking it in the morning and before bed. What do you think?

Opticen is more of a meal replacement. They are around the same price and nitrean has 71 servings as opposed to 23 in opticen. Opticen has a higher reccomended water usage, contains more carbs, and I believe 40g of glycogen carbohydrates. I guess Opticen would have its benefits to you after a workout because of those factors, but if you are planning on taking three opticen shakes a day you will be spending alot on protein as it will only last you 8 days.

Unless you are replacing three meals a day I'd probably get both products and use opticen for one meal replacement/ post workout and the nitrean to supplement and add protein intake into your regular meals.

Im no expert and I'm sure chris will chime in but just an opinion before you make your order.

I use Opticen strictly for Post workout shakes. I carb cycle often to make weight for meets and nitrean is great for mid day meals without carbs. Opticen is ideal for PWO as it has the carbs needed to refuel glycogen stores.

Same. I use it especially when I am training at school and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for food in the surrounding area. Opticen is perfect for what I need PWO.

With that in mind, I still use Nitrean for my daily protein intake in the morning or during a meal/macro load.
