    Gym name Ideas?

3 other trainers and I are opening a gym in Salt Lake City. Were having a brainstorming session today for names. Any ideas would be great! This is not a hardcore facility we would like to attract the general public but athletes as well.

    So far I have

Golden Spike Gym sounds great actually. Great branding potential there.

The only downfall with Golden Spike gym is running into legal problems with Golds Gym.

I was thinking "Closed on Sundays" would be a funny/catchy name. But it sounds a little disrespectful even though it isn't intended to be. I also like "Hoppers Fitness Emporium" but I think that one is taken

I think the name should somewhat cater to your clientele. What type of gym is it going to be?

Mostly middle aged females.... However, we still do train athletes. So a name that can reach a happy medium is nice. No sissy nancy boy names but no hardcore names either.

I'd stay away from religious words just to broaden your clientele.

It really is a daunting process. Reminds me of coming up with a name for a band or perhaps a title for a song.

Cedar Peak Fitness (or Gym) - lol sounds like a resort.

Peak fitness. It has the fitness aspect. Touches on UT elevation. Non threatening.
As to the methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.

Where in Salt Lake is this gym going to be located? I actually live in Salt Lake and I would definitely be interested in checking this out once it's open.

Amplified Fitness. Nice. I was going to suggest Alpha Fitness but I see you've already decided.

The area looks nice. I'd love to see an updated video once it's finished!
