    Speed pulls

    My training partner was out today so I decided to do speed pull singles instead of speed squatting.

    Here are two videos. I'm trying to figure out which one looks faster - I think the 1st.

    they're really really close, but after watching each of them about 10 times, I think the 2nd one is a tiny bit faster. Very strong pull, crazy how much ham and low back you put into that.

    they were pretty similar, both rly fast, looks like the lockout was a little faster on the 2nd tho...

    theyre so close its hard to tell

    Yeah, the good news being one was the 2nd or 3rd set with 455 and the other the 7th or 8th set so I was able to maintain my speed.

    They both looked pretty similar to me.

    Do you do a lot of speed work with just bar weight? Or do you usually include bands/chains as well?
