The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Hope your holiday time was relaxing bud.
Training is looking solid. I modified my back loading a little bit, but am still staying course. When i lift in the morning with nothing but coffee, i actually feel really good, and maybe stronger. Training in the evening i have to allow myself a small amount of carbs or i feel like shit. Im down to like 212. Nice and slow loss. Seems like its working well for you too. Where is your weight at?

Doing well, thanks fellas. Havent updated this thing in a while. I am about 3.5 weeks out and I have been following a template that Tone Barbaccio set out for me. Its been killer and I am making strides. Hope I can do it justice on 2nd September.

    *hip traction
    *static stretching

    Squat
    Barx10
    176x5
    286x3
    briefs
    396x3
    506x1
    suit bottoms
    616x1
    straps up
    660x1
    rev greens
    748x1
    792x1

    Hypers
    3x12

    Leg Ext
    3x12

Notes: Stand outs felt great. All sets moved well and no lower back trouble which has really been bothering me these last 4-5 weeks. I have been hitting the hip mobility drills religiously every day and doing a lot of rolling.

Heavy Bench Deload - 8th August

    *hip mobilty
    *pvc rolling
    *shoulder mobility

    Bench
    Barx30
    154x10
    220x3
    264x3
    308x3
    330x3
    slingshot
    374x2
    407x1

    DB Rows
    3x10

    *then v light accessory

Cable Pull Aparts / DB Front Raises
    3x10 each

DB Hammer Curls / EZ Bar Tri Ext
    3x10 each

Notes: Thats the third bench session in seven days that I have pushed my raw work slightly more and today my elbows were starting to hurt. Not too worried as I am very close to backing off for the meet and I can usually gauge my over reaching at this stage by how much discomfort I am in. Im doing ok I think. Hurting pretty good all over, lol.

    Heres some recent food pR0n.

Pulled pork sammiches and some B&J's 'Dough-ble Whammy'

I made the pulled pork in the slow cooker using coca-cola. It was tremendous. I pulled it and kept it 'dry' and only added the sauce with some finely chopped sauted onion when serving. It was the best I have ever made. I will be using this method from now on.

Cheers B! Im sitting at 231 every morning now. I changed to carb cycling and found it a lot easier to work with and stick to. The slow weight gain is crap though.
