The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Damn dude, sorry to hear about the meet. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers you'd hit after that good cycle you put in. Enjoy the recovery time brother.

Yeah, I feel like I let you down tbh. The cycle for the most part really well and certainly for bench and deadlift I felt good and was on for something significant. Im going to use it again for my next meet in March/April. Training raw for now, getting bigger. Thanks again for your time. I just wish I could have delivered. I have a lot of work to do and a lot of issues that need addressed.

    = = = = = =

Here is a vid of one of the guys from the squat crew who we will be going back to train with at the start of November. This happened at the GPC Worlds in Slovakia just a fortnight ago. Watch his right arm. He held on to it (opening deadlift of 660) after his bicep tore off and locked out the pull to get his total only to be pipped to first place in the 242s by 5lbs!!! This guy is NAILS!!! It will be a lot of SSB squattin' only for him for a while.

    Bench Training - 3rd Oct

    *pvc rolling
    *shoulder mobility
    *static stretching

    Bench
    Barxlots
    88x15
    132x10
    176x5
    220x3
    264x1
    308x1
    330x1
    352x1
    374xf*ck!

*Shoulder felt great going in but I should have stopped at the 330 however after the 352 set, some kind of rage virus kicked in and the next thing I know I'm standing after having missed 374 and my shoulder is smoked again. I was pressing the 374 nicely until it just dipped on the right hand side as my shoulder gave out. Felt light in my hands though which is the only good thing I'm taking away today. Back to one armed showers and left handed bum wiping for a few days, lol.

    Seated DB Shoulder Press
    very light
    3x10

    VBar Tri Pressdowns
    added monster mini
    3x20

    Cable Crossovers (yup )
    3x15

    BB Nosebreakers
    3x15

Notes: Stupid. I reckon if I hadnt injured my shoulder with the 374lb set, 400lbs would have been on the bar today so it was pretty much inevitable that I would f*ck myself up again no matter what.

That vid is fucking nuts. I like how he sorta smirks after he drops the weight and points to his right bicep like "wtf is this sht?" all calmly.

Sorry to hear about the shoulder dude, I know that all too well. Crazy to see you pushing so hard despite it.
