Heavy weight low reps or lower weight high reps or HCT-12? I'm trying to figure out what would make my muscles not give out so quick during a fight. I just started HCT-12 and starting my second week of it. Any input would be great. Thanks
Higher reps builds endurance but don't make the weight to low.
Eat big. Sleep big. Lift big. Get big.
this is interesting and am also in a similar 'boat'.
i do a 5x5 3 times per week and its a big drain on me BUT i also want to improve my cardiovascular (or endurance) system.
not so much for fighting or martial arts but more for mountain climbing, basically the same though as both activities need u to last longer during strenuous activity.
so what would be the best way to increase endurance while still being able to maintain a 5x5 schedule and of course get bigger ???
i do 15 minutes of rowing machine 3 times per week but i know its not enough.
and i can't run (bad hip)
