    End of the year or early next year or something like that. Before I compete I need a shirt that fits better. I think I like this one, because finally I didn't have such a hard time touching (it still sucks but not nearly as frustrating). I need to get the sleeves tighter before I compete with it though. I want to do bench-only the first time most likely and go for 620lbs. or above or something like that that will beat the record by a significant amount. All the weights feel easy, I just have to learn the technique better. I probably won't try the shirt again or at least not much before the meet I do in August. After that, I will use it a lot. And Glenn has a canvas squat suit I'm going to try to see if it fits and use that with just a suit and no briefs.

    Not happy about missing the last set, but the heaviest sets with just a belt and with loose wraps and belt were easy and good. I think I made a little too much of a jump on the last one. I decided not to try another one as my shoulder was a little aggravated on that set, but feels fine now. I realized after that even though I did 465+420lbs.chain before, the chains were set higher this time and the last time I used them, since the time I did that I was training with someone much taller so it was set lower so it wouldn't have to be changed. 4 or 5 more links of each chain off the ground makes a significant difference. Still not an excuse for missing though. Going to try something heavy straight weight in a couple weeks I think, probably at least 660-685lbs. range. I'm trying to add some extra hip work also until the meet to help my deadlift lockout.

    I still don't know why I suck at deadlift either. I'm good at pretty much every back movement besides that one. Maybe some day I will be better at it...

    Felt real strong benching today. Last week off really helped. The chain only deloads about 30lbs. or so at the bottom and this is better than the last time I did heavy benching with chains with a regular bar even. I think 435-440lbs. will be there in 6 weeks when I compete.

    Squats felt heavy throughout the warmups from 385 on. 650 actually felt pretty easy. I know I need to warm up more, jumps are too big when we use the kilo plates, but it just happened to be what the people I was squatting with wanted to use as they were going heavier with full gear on. I decided to stop there and just do some pulls because my shoulder was really aggravated squatting again today, which it hasn't been the last couple times so I wasn't too happy about that. My plan was only to go to an easy 645ish today, so I did basically what I planned on even a few lbs. more. Rack pulls were ok, not sure what weight to expect on them. I'm just going to alternate between deadlifts off the floor and rack pulls all against bands until the meet.

    Thanks. Trying to total at least 1750. Going to do at least 675 squat before I compete. I may or may not do another higher than that. Depends how easy it is. So far considering something like 630, 670, 700 as my 3 attempts and a fourth at 730 if 700 is easy enough. If not I will be happy with 700.
