Glad to hear you sticking with Tone. Dont have to tell you what he can do for you. One of the best in the game.
Solid plan too. But no more multi :'( lol jk. Like Tone now, if your happy raw, then more power to you buddy.
Thanks a lot B!!! I'm looking forward to working with Tone again. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to do multi-ply again. But my crew went from 7-8 down to 1(me). I have a training partner, but he has no interest in powerlifting right now. If I do another multi-ply meet, I'll probably end up driving to Orlando Barbell or Tampa Barbell. I have been thinking about single ply, because all I really need help with is setting suit straps, setting my shirt and a liftoff. But we'll see, right now I'm really enjoying the raw training.

I agree Pete, much easier...especially since I'm always logging on my phone.

It took me a minute to realize who this was, I almost banned your ass!!!

You should start a training log here.

Not a bad setup Brian. That cambered bar is one of the worst ones, as in very painful to squat with, lol. We have one almost exactly like it here. Surprisingly, I have used it more than once.

Thanks April, I'm not done yet. I still have a lot more stuff I want to get. I messed around with the bar a couple times but nothing heavy. I'll probably do some gm's with it this Friday.

Brian that gym setup looks fantastic. B-Hopp barbell.. Nice
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

Everything felt pretty good today. The squats weren't fast, but they moved ok. I was happy with them. I'm also trying something different with my deadlifts that I haven't done in a long time. For days where I pull anything over 3 reps (like today) I'll be performing them touch&go with control. Other then that, i'll continue to reset each rep.

Looking forward to this. Big gains brother! As far as the question you asked about percentages. You can cut them back if you'd like I just wanted to give you some different looks. 98% can be cut to 95%, 92% to 90% etc. Just looking to throw some different things at you. We've got 28 weeks after all. Didn't want you to get too bored. LOL

Thanks again for putting in the time to help me out. I really appreciate Tone!!! I'll just change the 89% to 90%, the 92% towards the end seems to be in a good place. Did you get my email about the maxes?

I know a lot of top lifters disagree, and when I say top lifters I'm talking lifters in the top 5 all-time in there weight class, lol. But I've seen Jeremy Frey do it a lot as he was getting ready for the XPC meet and he pulled 820@242. I believe that was his second meet back since his ACL surgery, and that was also a PR pull for him. Which is higher then some of the lifters that disagree with touch&go. But like I said, I'm doing it on reps higher then 3 so we'll see what happens when it's time to pull another single. I'm glad to see your with me

I know I said that I wasn't going to train on Fridays, but I've been getting the itch to go out in the garage and train. But I should of stayed inside, lol. I had a good session, but I was still pretty damn sore from squatting and pulling on Wednesday. But other then that, it went ok. On a good note, my Texas DL bar came in...and she's pretty
I'm not sure about squatting with the bar I got, but it will do untill I get my Texas SQ bar, which hopefully i'll get by the end of the month or beginning of next.

Just squat with that cambered bar until you get a squat bar, lol. The squat bar will feel great after a few weeks with that.

I don't know that the touch and go or reset matters that much on deadlifts. Not that I'm amazing at that lift at all, but of all the big lifters I know, it's mixed. And a few rarely ever do reps at all. The only reason I like to reset most of the time is to get in the same starting position, because my form is shitty if I don't always think about it in training. I have tried both ways and I don't think either made a significant difference though.
    Best competition lifts:
    650lbs. raw squat
    441lbs. raw bench
    580lbs. raw deadlift
    1650lbs. raw total
