    Wow, my neck is hurting pretty bad. I couldn't sleep last night, and it was hard for me to get out of bed, lol. This sucks!!!

    Done...Not a bad day. I was expecting the 410 to move a little faster then it did. But I didn't really have the drive today. Plus, I haven't benched that much since RUM. Overall, I'm pleased with how things went today. Next week is a deload, and I'm thinking about switching back to more of a ME/DE routine for my bench. Personally I think I'm doing too much on this day. So I probably need to split it up. I'm 18 weeks out from my next meet, so I have plenty of time to play around with it.

    410 did not look bad to me. If anything, you lacked tightness and that is why the bar moved slower. Benching 410 on an average day - I'll take that!

    You're probably right, because I just didn't feel the energy and drive yesterday. Which is my fault, I should've turned it up when it came time to get busy, lol. Hopefully that won't happen today! For next weeks deload, I don't think I'll take a complete deload. I'm going to see how I feel going into the workout. If I feel good, then I'll bump the weights up a tad.

    Done...The 635 didn't move as fast or easy as I would've liked. So I added RB's and bumped the weight up. But, I don't care because I pulled a huge PR with 700x2. I believe that's a 20lb PR. I'm thinking about changing up my routine for my bench and squat and keep doing what I'm doing for my deadlift. The rep work seems to help out my pulls more then my squat and bench.

    Its a bad angle, but your right foot looks toed out more than the left.

    Damn... still stoked about that pull. I think I'll change things around and deadlift tonight!

    Done...Got in and out in just under an hour. I went back in my log to see what I was doing when I hit my best bench in a meet. So it looks like I'll be changing things up for the next 17 weeks.

    What I noticed with my bench is, I wasn't doing any speed work and I wasn't doing any 2nd barbell movements after my main bench work. With that said, I'll do my sets/reps that I need to do. Then I'll finish off with one set of board presses or I'll throw on the ram just to get use to the heavy weights. Or I'll just lower the weight and do rep work with either tool. Or, I'll just skip those extra sets and move on. But after that, I'll go on and do my accessory work.

    I also noticed that I was doing a lot of close grip work on my accessory days followed by some sort of shoulder presses. So as you can tell by todays session, that's what I did. Before I was going heavy for reps of 3-5, but I believe I was using a thumb from smooth grip. Since my grip is a lot closer now, I'm going to try and keep the weights lighter and reps higher.

    The last thing I noticed was, I had a separate lower and upper accessory day. So I'll be getting rid of shoulder & tricep day and back & bicep day. I'll just combine all the upper body stuff on my bench day and accessory day like I use to.

    Done....and a little bummed out. Oh well, shit happens, time to move on and get stronger. I talked to Tone Barbaccio today and he designed a new training template that Jersey Iron is now using. So, for my meet in August I will be following it for my bench and squat. I'll continue to program my deadlift since it seems to be working pretty good right now. I'm really looking forward to it, because it involves a few different things that I think will help. I'll be starting it the first or second week of June.

    410 moved slow about a week ago. Then you hit 440, reverse band, for a triple. A couple days later you hit a big PR on deadlift. The sheer volume of heavy work you've been doing is more than enough to slow your bench a little.
