    Ba'h, go for a 680 squat, 450 bench, and drop your deadlift to 720. I like even numbers! LOL

    Done...A pretty good day today. My last 3 sets of bench were done with a pause. For the next 3 weeks I'm going to work on wide grip bench work. The 410 felt pretty good for an easy opener. It could be because my bodyweight is up, lol. I also tried the KLA3000 wrist wraps again and I figured out a good way to wrap my wrist without the pain, lol. So we'll give them a go for now and see what happens. These really are a pretty soild wrap, and I'm sure the knee wraps are just as sick.

    Yeah, I don't have the dedication to diet. I'd rather just stay where I'm at and compete as is, lol. If my weight drops off and I get close to 242's, then that's a different story. Thanks bro!!!

    I've really been thinking about trying to pull after I squat on the same day. Do you go fairly heavy on both when done on the same day? I feel like after a heavy squat session I'd have 0 energy for deads.

    I can pull pretty heavy after squats, as long as I don't do any drop sets. I usually take about 5-10 minutes of rest between squatting and pulling. Why don't you give it a try and see if you like it or not. You can always go back to training them separate.

    Session ended super early due to a strained pec. I started feeling a sharp pain as I started pressing, so I stopped. This time it was on the side I injured back in 2008. I was able to do some flat DB presses with 60lbs for 3x10, but my ROM sucked. I also did some bodyweight dips for 3x10, and those sucked also. I was able to make an appointment for today at noon to have it worked on, so we'll see what happens.

    Thanks guys, it's a little sore now but that's normal from getting Graston done. I was able to squat and pull today, but I did change my grip and bar placement to take the stress of my shoulders and pec. We'll see what happens. I'm planning on having my pecs worked on once a month for a couple months and then I'll go to every two months. My pecs aren't the greatest and I need to keep them as healthy as possible. So I'm going to try and add in more upper and lower body mobility and stretching. I'm also going to finish off on both bench day and upper accessory day with some blast strap push-ups. Time to stop being lazy and make this happen!!!

    Change of plans

    Well, I won't be competing in August. But, I will be making my return to the APF in October!!! This is going to be a challenge for me since they don't allow any sort of knee wear. They do use a monolift and i'll probably take advantage of it. So today and the next two weeks will just be some simple lifting. Then, at 12 weeks out, I'm going to restart my meet training. Still not sure about my weight, I was 251 this morning. Really not sure where I'm comfortable at.
