I am just 2 days away from the INBF Tri-State BBing competition this Saturday.
I am currently sitting right around 176 and that's the weight I need to be under to make the Middleweights.
I started dieting at the beginning of the year. I had anticipated on competing in an earlier contest but a lot of things have derailed me. I could be better than where I currently am at but oh well. This is what I will be presenting at the show Saturday.
I am looking to do a late carb-up (Friday into Saturday) so I am hoping that I "fill out" much more than what you can see here.
These pictures are from Monday.
These pictures are from tonight. I am looking a bit flat compared to earlier in the week. I am hoping to notice a big dfifference by tomorrow night and Saturday morning. I will be posting pics up frequently over the next 2 days.
Yes, it's a picture posting fest right now, but here is what I began with in late December and early January. I started @ a BW of 205 or around there. I definitely won't get back up to this BF% for the foreseeable future.
3 weeks later....
Look a bit watery in the latest shots, but I can see quad striations on your left leg in the ab/thigh,
I'm impressed Scott. Massive improvements over last year.
scott you look great man im pulling for you

Thanks fellas. I ended up not cutting it for the middleweights which was 176.25 and I came in @ just under 178.
There are 5 guys in my class, but I haven't had anyone in attendance to take stage pictures. Maybe tonight when family comes in I will have some pictures from the stage so you can see the others I am competing against. I have some pictures to upload.
So far I think I am happy with my condition, but the lack of pictures gives me minimal feedback. I peaked about an hour too late or it might have just been the fact that I was outside that I felt more vascular and full.
I am not as tight as I should be. I think I tightened up a bit by the time I hit the stage. I am hoping to look better for the finals tonight. I will try to get other pictures up tonight as well.
Legs look amazing as always Scott. good luck in the finals!
You're shredded bro!
Big difference between your first set of pics and this newest one.
Good luck with everything man.

Cant wait to hear how it went!
I ended up placing 3rd in the Light-Heavies with a total of 5 guys up there. Not really sure if I thought the guy that won was who I expected. I am curious as to how the final scores turn out, as I'm not quite sure the everyone placed where I expected. I wouldn't have been surprised to place 4th if not 5th.
I really don't have any good shots from the contest, but I'll post a few and you can make what you will out of the quality of the stage pictures.
We will see where I am @ in 1 year from now. I need to pack on a solid 7-8 pounds this time around and come in with better conditioning.
Well that's it, it's all over and now. I ate real loose on Sunday, but I'm back to the diet today and will try to follow my pre-contest diet as long as I can as I add in calories over the next few weeks.
The first 2 pictures were taken a bit after I was done with prejudging.
The last picture is from the evening show and the quality just isn't great. I am unsure of how I looded onstage, but from the few pics I have my waist looks much larger than I thought and I didn't look great under the lights there.
I was pretty happy with how I looked before stepping on stage, but I won't know how I looked until I see contest pictures or video. I don't know how long that will be either?
I have been a HUGE slacker. I said I would get some footage from the contest up. So here it is, just about 7 months later.
The first clip is my evening posing routine. A little mix of Tom Petty's best work. I was real happy with my posing routine given the fact that I had to make it about 1 hour before the evening shows began.
When I talked to 1 judge afterwards he commented on how much he liked my routine. I thought it was good, and it looked even better compared to pretty much everyone else.
I'd definitely like to hone my posing skills and improve upon them even more as I enter into more contests.

This video was from the pre-judging. It was pretty intense. Everyone was sweating pretty hard. The contest that I did a year before had everyone on stage rather quickly, only one division was on for an extended period of time, but most groups were onstage for quite some time.
quads look huge. Back looked really wide as well. Looke like the guy on the end right beat you in width, but you had a good amount of detail and width also.
