That's some hellacious grip strength there. But what kind of range of motion do you get at that weight?

Kinda like a Farmer's Stand-There, huh? Do you really do shrugs with that or do you do a timed hold?

That makes more sense now. Still impressive as hell, but I was trying to figure out how the fook you were shrugging all that weight on a barbell.

That thing is cool btw. You can do some serious grip work with that biatch.

Awesome lift man...at 180 you are very strong...you're forearms are popeye-esque!

Your teeth appear to be well taken care of as well...now you just need a decent haircut and yer all set!

It seems pointless to do that much weight. No way you are getting the full ROM.

monkey boy and others who question the lift i have had a certified personal trainer check my form and he says it good and im getting full range of motion. You may say hell anyone can get a piece of paper to become a trainer but this guy whos around 45-50 benches 400 lbs for 3 reps at 200 lbs!

SO instead of drinking your gallons of hatorade be glad for me because id be the first mofo sacking you if you had a great lift!

I found out one of my other freinds has some kind of video camra that can take stills and i will do another shrug session as soon as i can borrow his recorder i will be sure to get a pic that shows full ROM and then i guess there will be another ?

Didn't mean to come off as dissin' ya- I wasn't. What do you call that device the plates are on? I'm limited on Trap bar shrugs by what I can pick up off the floor. That device takes care of that problem. I've seen that PDA sell Trap bar extenders called Talons that allow you to put the Trap bar in a rack.

i don't see why he couldn't do that...I can do 405 at 170, and the thing that gives out is my grip..we have a machine like that at my gym though...might try for some higher weights now that I saw you oding 675 on that..

    What's your point?
"If you have a 10-horsepower motor and you subject it to a 12-horsepower load, it will burn out. But when you have a human body that is the equivalent of a 10-horsepower motor and you subject it to a 12-horsepower load, it eventually becomes a 12-horsepower motor."
