    5/17/13 Cube Squat Week 8

    Another horrible squat workout. I got my briefs on almost all the way but the seem was still below my hips. I tried a set with 405 but all i could do was a good morning. From here i put on a size bigger that a partner had and it felt like a raw squat. No pop at all with 605. As of today unless i try to gear up again next week i'm doing an iron man and worry about 2000 another meet.

    at least these went well. last set was easy as pie.

    5/27/13 DL with some squats...

    Another crap ass session. I went in early to try a pair of predator briefs and they fit ok and worked ok up to 515. I then added my double metal over that and couldnt get it on. I tried a set with 605 and literally couldnt even put my hips back. Very frustrated with gear these days. I cant get anything to fit, if you gain weight its unusable, if you lose weight you get no pop. ARG.

    this was the worst pull ive done the whole training cycle. every pull has been on mats and lowering the distance each ME lift. this was off the floor and it felt horrible. i was forward, slow, everything that a pull shouldnt be. i guess adding velcro did nothing to cure deadlifting in a squatter suit.

    I'm REALLY considering a raw meet for a few reasons. 1) squat feels pretty strong 2) deadlift raw feels strong 3) the SPF elite total is 1604 which i'm pretty sure i can hit.

    The reasons i'm not considering a raw meet 1) my shirted bench feels pretty good 2) i have no idea what my raw bench is paused + my left shoulder has been bumming.

    Consdering the meet is june 9th i need to decide what to do. Realisticly raw i think i could go 625/405/670 which would be an awesome meet for me.
