I am planning on putting a small gym in my garage and was wondering what I should use for the flooring. I do plan on getting those thick 3/4" mats from Tractor Supply, but will that be enough for deadlifting? I was thinking about adding some thick sheets of wood underneath and the mats on top, but not sure if thats going to be overkill or not. Let me just add that my wife will kill me if I destory the floor, lol. I also don't drop the weights from waist high either so that would help, but im sure over time it will get f**ked up. Any input and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!
