    new workout idea

I 've been thinking of a new workout split, similar to the good old push-and-pull split. But the difference would be that I split up the shoulder workout between the presses and the lat raises. Please take a look at this and tell me if it looks like something worth trying, or is it's too much pressing on one day, for example. The exerises aren't set in stone, so I'm not as concerned about them.

    Day 1 Chest/front delts/triceps *2 sets for each exercise*

    Decline BP
    Incl. Dumb Press
    Dip

    Standing mil. press
    Seated Dumb press

    Skullcrushers
    overhead ez bar ext.

    Day 2 Legs

    Day 3 Back/middle, post. delts/biceps

    BB row
    pullup
    DB row

    DB shrug
    bent lat raise
    standing lat raise

    BB curls
    DB curls

*I know this seems different so critique the hell out of it*

You're going to overtrain on your chest/shoulders/triceps day. By the time you get to your triceps, they'll already be fried. Or so one would think.

millertime - i didnt include the leg exercises b/c my concern is about the upper body split.

kaleido - yes, that is my main thought also. On the other hand, I like the idea of doing rear delts with back. I think day 1 would have to change though.
