I have my meet in a few days. I have been eating fairly light and drinking a ton of water. I was going to cut my water down the day before the meet and then no water before weigh-ins.... but I've been monitoring my weight and I am as we speak below the mark. As long as I keep monitoring, wouldn't it be best for me as far as performance goes to keep drinking the water and maybe just sip it before weigh-ins in the morning? I would think this would keep me more adequately hydrated and I would have less chance of getting weak.
Of course if during the next few days of weighing I am borderline I may still cut the water. What are your views?
