Basically there is a hammer strength seated dip machine at the gym I go to that you can add weight to via plates to make it heavier. I started using it since either there is always someone using the belt that you can use to add weight for the regular bar dip or cant find them at the time. I still do regular bar dips as a superset in between a tricep exercise but it is only body weight but I get my heavy dips in on the machine. Am I hindering myself by doing this? Is there really that big of a difference?
