    Random shirt question!

    I finally touched in my katana 475! I was wondering have you guys ever had a shirt load up so much that you couldnt feel it touch? I had no clue i actually touched it until the guys told me! But on another note getting closer to my 500 in singly ply

    Yeah. I always have a partner give press commands when we're in shirts. I quite often don't feel the touch to the chest when I'm in a shirt that fits.

    The best description I've ever heard of benching in a shirt: "You take the hand off and lower the weight until you are blind and see Jesus, then some fat guy yells "PRESS!!" and you push with everything you got until they take the bar away from you".



    I pretty much never feel the bar touch, even in single ply. I go by the pressure in my head (not to accurate) and the press command.
    Finally ELITE @ SHW..

    Single ply: 931 squat, 760 bench, 530 deadlift and 2180 total
    Multi ply: 960 squat, 770 bench, 550 deadlift and 2250 total.

    The next stop: PRO total.

    Its impossible for me to feel the touch in my Super Katana. I wait for the press call from my team mates.

    congrats on touching. were using the same shirt and have the same goal! i lift my head up a bit while descending the bar. i can never feel any barbell going full range.

    Thanks everybody! and Jt i havent been able to get that down yet! I usually pick my head up too much and slide back when i press. I think if i can hold my arch a lil better i could have gotten 455 to touch but i lose my arch somehow!

    I actually called my spotters liars when they said I touched in my super Katana cause I never felt it. So i made them take video.

    i have tried different multi ply shirts cant seem to get weight down.feels like my arms will break at triceps have good lock out power. have been lifting raw but would love to do local meet in april, have had luck in a karen denim but interested in a single ply. help

    If you want a good easy to use poly shirt go with an Titan F6 if you arch and a fury if you bench flat back! I can touch 385 in F6 that is the same size as my katana that took 475! That and find some guys thats worked in shirts to help you!

    Thanks, going to check out shirts today. is there any place to find used ones? also if training for a bench only meet should i back off squats and deadlifts?
