The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Whats a good program for pure strongman strenght.

Right now im on a cut but I hope to be done with that in 8-12 weeks. After that I want to bulk up to try the local strongman compitition's next year.

Is there a good routine for pure strenght that is geared towards strongman?

I do have a sled and tire at home I plan on using for this (used it some last summer) but im looking more into a weight room training program for pure strenght.

Right now im at 5'10" 180lbs but am cutting down to 165-170.

I was thinking of a program that can keep me in the weight room 3 days a week and be outside doing tire flipping, sleds, farmer walk ect atleast 1 day a week.

powerlifting style, or any gym training that gets you strong, Oly lifting would even be good if that's only type of club you had access to.
low reps, heavy weight, keep pushing yourself towards new PRs,
mix it up tho remember unlike powerlifting strongman uses a wide range of lifts & objects to ccarry, drag, throw, or load, etc.

after the gym lifts you gotta train the strongman events, 1 or 2 times a week, no replacement for that.

Thanks for the advice. Im thinking of doing a 5x5 program and modify the program to allow a day for strongman specific lifts.

I noticed our local strongman has some weird things I have never seen before so ill have to get a list of things they use.
