    Weather and your mood

Do you find that your mood/motivation is somewhat connected to the weather?Because I notice that on cloudy/rainy days that I have to dig down deep to get myself to the gym

I absolutely believe weather affects our moods. I think barometirc pressure does alot. Sometimes right before a storm I feel really cranky and after it hits I feel great again. And snow falling makes me totaly serene. In extended periods of high heat the murder and crime rate usually go up - so yea the weather has alot to do with the way we feel. As for going to the gym, I like rainy days best, I have really good concentration when it rains.

yes, weather has effect on mood. generally, ppl get pissed off easier in summer weather, and there's actually a term for this phenomenon, in which road rage is higher during the summer, forgot what it was.
and, more ppl suffer depression during the winter weather, this also has a psychological term for it (argh! after finals, i forgot everything!)

Check out "Seasonal Affective Disorder". Usually it's more of a seasonal thing, but, it can probably happen on a smaller scale based on the weather. Anyway, I find that if I'm feeling a little down or slow in the winter months, I just hit the tanning salon for a quick boost.
