    Help the confused

    In your article 'Application of a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet' I got confused. If I understand correctly you stated an example of zero carbs from Monday - Friday then load on Saturday and Sunday. But in the training example you give the impression that on Friday it is recommended that you eat 50g of carbs thru fruictose/fruits.

    Isn't this contradicting to the planned diet?

    Can you elaborate please and clear up this confusion?

    Looking forward to trying this out, by the way it is strangely similar to the South Beach Diet and Workout, Thank you.

    You would want to consume some fructose after the depletion workout to refill liver glycogen, which would cause the liver to be in a fed state (anabolic). If you are not beginning the carb up on Friday then you would not want to consume any carbs.
