140x2 - belt
170x2 - add TRX
190x2 - add wraps
After looking at a few vids, I tried wearing the TRX a bit lower on my thighs: it makes A LOT of difference, I had trouble going down with the 190.
Next week I'll give a go at a 200-210 single to get this straightened out: if I can go down well, I'll spring the weight up.
130x2x6 -belt - just to move the wheels a bit
100x2 - add Ram
130x2 - butttttttery
Close grip incline bench - 2 fingers on smooth
Cable tri ext
Downright awesome session: bench moved Fast, and I think I got everything right: not too heavy, not too light.
Wednesday I have my last heavy squat/DL session, then I'll cruise towards the meet: key word will be NO CNS Fatigue.
Interesting gear/raw discussion!!
Goodluck for the meet bro, nail it. What date is it?
I have to put in the last heavyish squat/Dl session, then cruise on to meet day, keeping fresh and mobile.
I'm jealous... i think my dream ov Worlds just swirled down the hole. I'm going to be peaked pretty fucking awesome in about 2-3 weeks... and now NO MEET!!! Dammit.
GL at the meet!
Trample the weak, hurdle the dead
Satisfaction is the Death of Desire...
Got out of work waaaaaaaaaaay late, and was destroyed: I opted for a lightish upper body session, and will squat and DL tomorrow.
100x6 - hit the gas a bit harder here, i think I'd be good for>10 reps on a strong night.
PRESS (clean on 1st rep)
DB incline bench
I should have known better than to rely on sponsors here. What can i say... it was a fun dream while it lasted. Training for 2013 Nationals now. Still gonna peak around the same time and put up some serious PR's, but after that its back to olympic lifting for a good while... until its time to start another peak for the next big meet. I wish there were more meets happening near here... i'd do every one.

Sorry to hear that J. Just go and bend all the bars they have at Nationals!
Last "heavy" session before next week's meet.
I kept it pretty light, since this week has been plagued by long work hours and insufficient sleep.
130x2 - belt
160x2 - TRX straps down, light wraps
190x2 - full gear - cake (about 90% of opener)
DEADLIFT sumo (I kept the TRX on from squats)
160x1 - belt
180x1 - straps up - half the people in the gym went blind because of how fast I pulled these; again, about 90% of opener
LEG PRESS close stance
A short "have to move a bit" session:
Lat Pull downs 3 sets
BB rows 3 sets
hypers 2 sets
power clean 3 sets
push presses 3 sets
abs 2 sets
DB curls 4 sets
calves 2 sets
Nice final session. Fast and easy is what you want. Rest up now!!!
A bit of work on the 70% range today, 50-60% on wednesday, then it'll be game time!
120x2 - belt from here
160x2x2 - wraps - 73% of geared max
110x2x2 - ram - too easy - 73% of 150
130x1 - belt from here
150x1 - again, just over 70% of geared max
looking strong rock! good luck for the meet!
Check out my training:
My smolov blog '12 : start 475 - finish: 520
Last session, training is wrapped up for this cycle:
Bench - 90x3x2
Squat - 130x2x3 - belt
Boom game time!! Go hard mate
Aaaaaall right! Meeting done, and I'm pretty happy with how it went.
Bw on the meets' scale: 77,1
Then 300 gr of Cantonese rice...
100x3 - belt from here
170x1 - TRX straps down and light wraps
190x1 - full gear
210 - ok - this felt heavy...
215 - ok - conservative, but it felt good: I was waking up, finally - 5 kg meet pr
225 - 2 reds - 1 st high squat of my life, because of a mighty good wrapping: I got in a closer-than-usual stance, and got up too early; I have more anyway, the weight flew up like a 1st attempt
120x2 - f6 shirt, board
140x2 - half board, then to chest - decided to lower 1st attempt a bit
155 - 15 kg meet pr
120x2 - belt from here
160x1 - TRX straps down
185 x 1 - full gear
205 - ok
212.5 - ok - 2.5 kg pr
217.5 - ok - 5 kg pr
587.5 kg total - 410.8 wilks points
5th place in the -83 kg class (12 lifters)
I finally have a geared total, and I got a lot of pr's and the best placing I ever got.
Only thing I'm disappointed about is not getting a 600 total, but I know that I will blow it out of the water next time.
Lesson learnt: practice gear more. Way more. And get the wraps TIGHT
Moreover, my training mate Massimiliano got 3rd place in the same class, with 270-167.5-250 (he did a stupid error on a 260kg 3rd attempt) and my other training mate Lorenzo got 6th place in a very stacked Jr division by means of 240-170-227.5 @ 93.
All of the above with single ply gear, IPF sanction.
25 kg PR, Great job!
I want a 650 Kg total at my next comp (April '13)
