The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Raw work will benefit you well. Build that strength base up!

Whats the next comp? How far away?

Yes! I'm even convincing my gear-whore training mate that building a raw base is essential to huge geared lifts, even Simmons looks at it this way.

Next comp will either be the Italian Deadlift opens in March, or the Italian full PL opens in late April: goals would be >230 in the DL comp, and >630 in the full meet.

Good work going on rock. I have noticed a few people deadlifting in Oly shoes, what's the idea behind that?

    Guys, an iron-loaded 2013 to y'all!

Oly shoes...in my case, I use them for light deadlift when I don't feel like changing shoes, or to change things up a bit.

Think the DB press they do in Strongman...only for reps, and FAR less weight (delts were still fried from wednesday's front raises)
