    The 600lbs. on the walkout was a "PR." I tried this one other time and just was able to get it up off the hooks. Today, I walked back, got into a med.-wide stance and was able to walk back in OK. (I was by myself and didn't want to take a chance taking a real wide stance.)

    The 8mm bar fell in about 20 seconds. I might take another shot at a 485 bar soon, depending on how other training is going. Maybe another 500+ IMP attempt is in the cards?

    Today was the first time I pulled against band tension. At first, it was awkward, then I started to get the feel of it on the sets with 225. The 315 was tough near the top, when the bands felt like they were throwing me off. The first rep of 405 (normal weight) felt pretty weird and flew up -- done right after band work.

    The PL000 was the first I've attempted since the one I took down last year. I didn't get a good kink and ended up battling with it for 6-7 hits, and was able to open it to about 40 degrees. Then, I fought it for 2 minutes to get it to about 120 degrees. I had to save something for squats, so I left it at that. My second hub attempt on the 55 was stronger than the first. Getting close to 57.5!

    It's been awhile since I tried an SSP 000, so I gave it a shot today. I had some trouble getting it started, but got moving and had a good fight throughout the sweep. I might have been able to get it to 140, but was getting ready to do my work sets for squat and didn't want to mess that up too much.

    The 315 for reps was a PR for me, regardless of weight. When I was heavier and was benching 325-330, I still never got 315 for reps raw. Might have gotten a third, but wanted to save something for the shirted reps. The 440 today was the most weight I've ever had in my hands on bench!

    Squats felt pretty good. I stopped at 475 to give myself somewhat of a break this week. I got some 5/16" stainless in from Fastenal. Not sure if I ever attempted it before--maybe once unsuccesfully, if I remember right. I spent way too much time overthinking it before the bend and got a weak kink. I reset and hit it pretty good, but my fingers were torn up a little from the square and I pulled back and tried a Red right after it, which felt like 1/4 stock after the 5/16 SS! I have no idea what the stainless rates at, but this is another piece I'd like to work towards bending in IMPs.

    I attempted my first rep without a board on the 425. Just missed it at the top... ended up getting out of the groove a little. The 300x6 was a PR for me, regardless of weight.
