    The 7 reps on the #2 (MMS) was a 2-rep PR! It's crazy because I haven't done grippers the past few weeks (aside from some easy closes). And, looking back at my gripper-past, any time off from grippers usually kills any progress.

    Had to cut the session short, as I was experiencing pain in the left elbow. This was in my single-ply Super Katana. It's not really tight in the chest or arms, but the left sleeve opening is crushing the tendons around the elbow, making it tough to maintain throughout the rep. This is only happening on the left side.

    The 160 on the SSP was a PR! My previous best on this shoe was around 150. Right before this bend, I wrapped up a Mule #000 shoe and gave it a few hits, without much luck ... maybe a couple of degrees. So, then, I gave the SSP a shot (totally unplanned). Had to take several extended hits on the kink, which, I think, ended up costing me when I had a chance to take it further at the end.

    The 5/8 was my first in awhile. And it felt great to finally bend one of these bars again! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to immediately pick up at a 25" bar after the layoff, but it was done in about 3 minutes.

    I put on my old, loose (stretched-out 46) F6 for my top two sets today. No pain at all in the elbow. Not sure if I'm going to get right back in the Katana, or stick with the loose shirt a few weeks.

    I was 1-2 mm from closing the #2.5 last year, but laying off grippers a few months, and I'm not even close now.

    Ok rear facing levering, must be due to the work the pinky and ring fingers have too do.

    I'm with you, when I back off on the grippers I go backwards on the heavy grippers.....rep work (25+) seems easier to maintain.
