    my arms are 19.5" cold and 20.5" puimped and honestly look small to me. I stood next to ronnie coleman and felt like a little bitch.

    what is considered "normal" , " large" and "huge"?

    I like that it seems to be fair. The only thing that would change my mind or shift the catergories would be body weight.

    ex: 5"9 , 181 with 18.5+ arms w/ 6-8%bf, damn now that is something.

    And height. 16" arms might look great on someone 5'9 ... they look like strings on someone 6'3. Arm size is all relative to whole body proportions.

    BUT, I wouldn't mind a set of dubs.

    I'd say anything over 18 is damn imressive. I'd say 19+ is freakin huge.

    It depends on a whole host of factors:bf%, body structure, overall weight, height, muscle shape, etc. My arms are currently a bit over 16.25" at a bodyweight of 195. They look much bigger than they did when I was 217, even though then they were almost 17.5" at that weight. They still look very crappy. I've got a friend who's the same height(5'11''), weighs 170, and has arms that tape out at about 16". They look unreal. I mean, they're freakin' enormous. So again, it depends. An 18" arm can be pretty unimpressive; a 16" one can appear huge.

    We tend to think of Sisyphus as a tragic hero, condemned by the gods to shoulder his rock sweatily up the mountain, and again up the mountain, forever. The truth is that Sisyphus is in love with the rock. He cherishes every roughness and every ounce of it. He talks to it, sings to it. It has become the mysterious Other. He even dreams of it as he sleepwalks upward. Life is unimaginable without it, looming always above him like a huge gray moon. He doesn’t realize that at any moment he is permitted to step aside, let the rock hurtle to the bottom, and go home.

    I'd be more impressed seeing 17" guns on someone 6'3 than I would on someone 5'8", why, because it's much easier for a shorter person to have bigger arms. A taller person has to fill out a heck of a lot more room to get their arms that round. If you have short arms your arms will be more round if you long arms they aren't gonna be as round.

    It wasn't meant for a couch potato.

    I think anyone that trains consistently and eats well for a year should have at least 15" arms. That's all I got myself, they're nothing special.

    For average height 5.9'' (drug free) and ~6 packs :

    13'' = average size's arm
    14'' = weightlifting newbie
    15'' = Quiet Big ! intermediate trainer
    16'' = Big Arms
    17'' = Huge Guns !!!!!!
    17.5'' = Monster Guns !!!!!!!!
    18'' = doesn't exist or perhaps some exceptions...

    just my opinion
