The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Detroit Barbell Sunday Night Deadlift Crew Video

We all got some pretty good work in and we all hit PR's. In this video you'll see me hit 645lbs for 3 and 5 singles with 545lbs. You'll see Tim Hensley pull a PR of 625lbs as well as pro strongman Mike Caruso work up to 800lbs getting ready for America's Strongest Man.

We pull every Sunday. I only pull heavy every third week. Next week will be speed work triples against bands and the following week will be speed work doubles against bands and then in 3 weeks will be a heavy double and 4 singles with 565. I set up my training cycle so the end of the last micro cycle before the meet(probably about 5 weeks out) I'll pull 710lbs which is a 5lb PR and by that time it should be fairly easy and that will let me know where I'm at for the meet. I'm fairly new to this sport still and by no means an expert at programming, so I'm experimenting on myself. We shall see if it works lol
