The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Dunno if anybody remembers this guy, but he used to post here years ago. He was pretty young at the time, in his teens, and he was massive, 300+ pounds easy. Over the past year or two he's lost a lot of weight and he's even stronger. I don't think he's actually competed yet, but he will absolutely destroy records once he does. Not sure on his age but I'm pretty sure he's still in the Junior age group.

His big problem is not being able to pullwithout straps. So saturday will be interesting. He has a very high 800 pull in him but does his grip?

Guys that can rep heavy DLs just blows my mind. My best is 405 right now, but I've never reallly been able to pull reps. I always pull so hard that I have to almost completely reset after every rep because my feet will almost leave the ground. It doesn't matter if I'm pulling 405 or warming up with 135. So these guys are fucking beasts!
