    Just my opinion, if you can go 35 minutes on a bike 5 days a week, you're not doing it intense enough.

    As for people saying cardio burns muscle, I've never heard that. Me personally, I'm an athlete, I'd never go without cardio. I do cardio about 4 times a week, and I've not only gained a lot of lean muscle, but I've lost a major amount of bodyfat.

    Up the intensity, and if you want to lower BF%, GET A JUMP ROPE AND GET GOOD AT IT!

    I suppose this would largely depend on your training goals.

    I'm back in "training mode" with my running until the spring. The program I follow has me running virtually everyday. I might take one day break every 3-weeks or so.

    A large part of running (for me) is the cumulative effect of running day after day (after day, after day......). Running improvement takes time. You need to plan your trainning schedule carefully to make continuous improvment but not burn out or worse, get injured or sick. It's a tough balance.

    With regard to the question of cardio intensity as it relates to weight loss, I'll abstain. I realize we are currently living in a "HIIT crazy world". I'll just say that if what you are doing is meeting your goals, you must be doing it right for your specific situation. Keep doing what you're doing.

    Well, to be fair, running is a whole new beast compared to the stationary bike. The bike doesn't even compare.
