    Help My Fix my Squat Form - Video Check

    Hi everyone,

    Recently getting back into lifting seriously and currently doing a variation of SS. I finally was able to get someone to tape my squat form today and wasn't happy. I thought my form was good but after seeing the video I can see my lower back rounding a bunch at the bottom of the lift.

    Looking for suggestions on how to correct that and any other issues you may see with my form. Appreciate the help in advance.

    So many things, so little time...

    Ok, first, sit back more as you squat. You don't want your knees traveling so far forward. Push your knees out and sit back as you squat down. Commence the movement with a backward motion of your hips before you even break your knees.

    You need to be more upright under the bar. Keep your chest up. Drop your elbows down so they are under the bar.

    Thanks Chris appreciate the tips. I have my squat/deadlift session tomorrow and will keep these in mind and try to lower the weight a bit and focus on form.

    I am located in northern NJ.

    Have been reading the site for a while and big fan of the At Large products.
