Well, I honestly don't do CF, but I know a lot of athletes do CF. Anyways, I'm not looking to do CF workouts, but I'm wondering what some guys with GREAT balance do to gain/maintain their balance?
I'm coming off a few knee injuries and I want to switch from OL to HB in football, and one of the things I need to improve is balance (to help break tackles, obviously).
I guess I'd suggest slow, controlled, full range pistol squats in good form for the balance you are seeking. Not only do you need pretty decent leg strength, but its pretty hard to balance for most people, so you will strengthen your ankles, etc and other small leg muscles that you will need to balance.
Otherwise I'd suggest various hand-balancing exercises.

Another thing to consider is dynamic balance/agility. Being able to maintain positioning and a sense of where you are during rapid direction changes. This is more agility work, though... anything you do for that at the moment?

Well, I run football routes on occasion, sometimes do ladder work (though not often anymore), and jump rope. All of those have really helped with my agility.
