    Feet Out/In On Squats?

I seem to only be able to squat to parallel if I have a wide stance with my toes pointed out.....now I'm wondering, will this hurt my knees? My left is kinda bugging me so that's why I'm wondering.

Should I just practice stretching for awhile first and get my flexibility and then use a bit less of a wide stance with my toes point straight ahead?

If it feels's ok stick at it. I'd invest in some cod liver oil for healthy joints.

I always squatted with a wide stance and toes pointed out, and to show for it i got no outer sweep.

Make sure your knees are staying spread apart when you squat. When your knees bow in it puts lots of stress on them which isn't the best thing to do.

I used to use a stance just wider than shoulder width. Toes pointed out a bit. I now use a wide stance with toes pointed out a bit and I love it. I've gotten more weight (less ROM) and I can get deeper.
