The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    powerlifting clubs/gym in philly

Anyone know of a powetlifting or garage gym in the Philly area. I'm in the far NE section of the city. Iron Sport is the best gym around.d but its over an hour away. I can't train at a commercial gym because they aren't to friendly to power lifters. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Iron Sport is one of the best gyms in the country but I don't have the flexibility in my schedule to travel that far.

Dude, your in a sport where you need to be willing to drive a bit to train with good people. If you're not even committed to drive an hour how do you expect people to want to put a commitment of time into you? I've driven 2 hours every Saturday morning to squat with a good crew before we started our crew at Iron Sport. That being said, there is another good crew in the Northeast. VIP consists of Brian Reed and Evan Snydman. Some good characters and a great, hardcore, powerlifting gym. Hopefully they're close enough for you.

Thanks ill look into VIP. I know u got to train with the best but I'm looking for a place where I can train daily. I work in a time consuming profession , have 3 kids in sports, I'm married, and play in a few leagues(all the stuff most people have in their lives). I'm just looking for a place where people dont curl in the squat rack. Sadly in Philly most of the gyms are planet fitness types
