In January of this year, I did a 700kg/1543 total. 9 months later I did 1708. I wanted 800kg but I didn't get it this day. But hell. 220lbs on a total in 9 months is just greedy.
Weighed in 109.2. The bloat was superhuman. 3 days after I'm already back down to 105.
Squat warm ups. Errything felt good. Hit a smooth 260, but I left it late and had 4 attempt to get ready for my opener.
Squat 1: 285. Beautiful. Smooth. Powerful.
Squat 2: 300. Missed out of the hole. I know why, combination of a weakness and wrong choice of knee wraps. But it's fine. I blacked out bad after this, I'll get the full video up soon cause it's awesome.
Squar 3: 300. Missed again.
**** happens. I knew at this stage unless I pulled like 370kg I was not going to get my 800 today. But **** it, I'm an experienced competitor. Still 2 events to go. Cleared my head. Smashed down some rice and PB, and got to benching.
Bench warm ups. Felt ****ing amazing. 2 plates was leaving my hand. Pain was minimal but still trouble controlling the bar on the descent. Oh well. Hit 127.5 as my last single.
Bench 1: 135. Smashed it.
Bench 2: 142.5. Smashed it.
Bench 3: 147.5. Smashed it again.
Honestly could have gone 155. Stoked with the bench.
Warmed up. Felt on ****ing fiiiiiiire. 70 120 170 220 and 270 were blinding.
Deadlift 1: 310. Destroyed it. Even faster than my training lift.
Deadlift 2: 342.5, figured **** it, get a nice round 775kg total, and a 755lb deadlift to boot.
The best part was that my 342.5 was being loaded as the fire alarm was set off. I was itching to get to the bar and the sie manager came to shut the meet down. She put her hand on my chest as I walked forward and I looked at her and said 'I suggest you remove that.' She backed off. The loaders were slow and hesitant, so I kinda yelled at them to move the **** out of the way. Went out, set up, gripped, hips up and down and then I ****ing hit it.
Felt like sweet sweet sex.
So all up. 775kg total. 1707lbs@242. Not the dream run, especially the spastic squats, but proud that I didn't miss any lifts after, kept my cool, and still had a blast. I came second in the 242's to a very strong guy. It's nice to compete against people in open competition.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.
My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.
Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
