    Powerlifting Friendly Gym in...

I got 92 days before I start Terminal leave from the Army and my next home has been narrowed down to Beaumont TX, DFW area TX ,Houston area TX or the Atlanta GA area...Any of you close to this areas know any good powerlifting friendly gyms...eventually Im planning on buying all I need to train for powerlifting but I want to get into it 100% this time and its hard with no partners that understand the sport. Also..what Feds are more active around this areas?

North Georgia Barbell is somewhere up close to the Atlanta area and Deep South Barbell I believe is the name is also Close to Atlanta. I'm sure there are plenty of gyms in TX

Coffee's Gym would probably be worth checking out - they have some competitive powerlifters, strongmen, and olympic lifters who train there and the equipment/atmosphere to accommodate strength athletes.

Quest (Duluth GA, Gwinnet county, suburb north of ATL) also, my favorite gym... 3.5 hours away but I'm still tempted to go every Saturday
