ok, this one has even me stumped. I have a Sound Blaster Live setup, and I can't for the life of me, even with the updated drivers get my computer to spew forth any sound
maybe you put the card in wrong
BTW sometimes you might want to try to turn the volume up in sounds and multimedia in control panel. SB may be alright.
well I've had the card in, it worked fine, all the volumes are up fine
make sure the speakers are hooked into the right place, make sure "mute" is off
"****, if you told teenagers it was trendy to wear a paper bag on their heads with holes for the eyes they'd all be doing it."
the mute is off. everythign is hooked up right. They worked 30 seconds before windows XP was installed, and stopped as soon as I had it in.
Boot to safe mode and remove ghost drivers and then reboot and see if it works.
good thinking bates
did you try hitting it and making monkey sounds?
THERE we go...I had to check 'digital audio only' not sure why, but I did.
we all know you just hit it and it started working
yeah...yeah basically. Sound Blaster still won't let me access the e.q.'s or anything, but oh well
Make sure its in the 3rd PCI slot.
