I'm gonna start counting my calories to try and get rid of my 'man flab.'
I have a few questions:
Is keeping a diary of what I consume a good idea?
How many calories should I cut to start off with?
Are there any sources on the internet that will provide me with nutritional information about every food substance (i.e. chicken = ***cals **protein etc.)?
-yes, a food journal is very important.
-i would first play with the % of the foods before cutting calories.
-just go buy a book. what its like $5 or something like that. and well worth every dollar!
how much do you weigh and much fat do you have to loose?
how many times a week do you exercise as well?
My BMR is 1773.82 and my AMR is 2483.4!
I way approx 148lbs and weight train 3 days a week and do javelin and sprint training 1 - 2 times a week! I am roughly 17-18% bf I'd say and want to get to about 10%!
aim for say 2,000 cals then to loose wieght spread out over 5 to 6 meals day. if that your AMR.
